Dr Maslovsky graduated from and became a professor at the Moscow Aircraft Technology Institute, specialising in engineering applications of the theory of plasticity and teaching metallurgy and plasticity. He published more than 100 scientific papers and has 9 inventor’s certificates.
Pavel Maslovsky is a Co- Founder of Petropavlovsk Company which came to be Russia’s second-largest gold producer. Group’s main production sites are located in the Amur region in the Russian Far East.
Pavel Maslovsky held directorships within the Petropavlolvsk Group, including the position of Chief Executive Officer, from the Group’s inception in 1994.
In this capacity, Dr Maslovsky has extensive experience in the operational management of mining and processing operations in precious and non- precious metals.
In 2010 Pavel Maslovsky established The Petropavlovsk Foundation for Socially Oriented Projects and Programmes Support. In 2011 Maslovsky was elected as Member of the Legislative Assembly of the Amur region and appointed as Senator and Member of the Federation Council of Russia.
