Grigoriy Sedykh was born in Marganets, Dnepropetrovsk region in 1967. He graduated as Mining Engineer from Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (currently National Mining University of Ukraine) and also finished Marganets Higher Mining School as specialist Mining Technician – Electrician.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry. For 14 years he had been working for MMC Norilsk Nickel, Polar branch. From 2011 to present Mr. Sedykh holds position of Deputy General Director, Consulting at TOMS Engineering Ltd.
He is an expert of the State Commission on Mineral Reserves of Russian Federation (GKZ). During his career Mr Sedykh was repeatedly awarded certificates of honors – “Best Innovator of MMC Norilsk Nickel” (twice) and “HR specialist”. In 2005 he was awarded the Honorable mention of the Ministry of Industry and Energy of the Russian Federation. He has been awarded the title of "Engineer of the Year" in professional engineering category of the All-Russian competition "Engineer of the Year - 2006".
