Jan Lewis is a Board Director and Regional Director of the London office of Wardell Armstrong International. He is a Chartered Engineer, Geologist and Environmentalist with 20 years experience in ground engineering, geological and environmental issues associated with the mining projects and the reclamation of former industrial sites. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials Minerals and Mining and is their President until December 2012. He manages teams providing technical support for mining and natural resource projects include exploration assessment, due diligence, auditing, competent person reporting and feasibility studies. Recent projects include project management of: open pit iron ore mines in Russia (resource and reserve assessments, PFS and BFS), a Cu/Zn open pit in Saudi Arabia (resource assessment, PFS, BFS and ESIA) and a gold open pit in Armenia (ESIA).
