Oleg Limonov has over 20 years’ experience working as a senior geologist in mining companies in the Russian Far East.

He has worked at Polymetal Int from early 2011 as Head of Production and Geological Department after moving to St. Petersburg from the Amur Region where he was Deputy Chief Geologist at the Pokrovskiy Mine since summer 2010. Prior to that, he held Chief Geologist positions at the Okhotsk mining and geological company in the Khabarovsk Territory from 2006 to 2010 and at Beresite Mine in the Amur Region from 2004 to 2006. Before that, he had worked at Buryatzoloto, Amur Gold Miners Association, Amursk Mining Centre and the Far-Eastern Minerals Institute in Khabarovsk. He started his career in 1991 at the Taezhgeologiya geological association in Khabarovsk.
In 1991, Oleg Limonov graduated from Sverdlovsk Mining Institute with a degree in geological surveying, prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits.
