On the problem of automatic mineralogical analysis. The automatic liberation analysis of a pyrite concentrate sample by scanning electron microscope TESCAN
The TESCAN Integrated Mineral Analyser (TIMA) is a new solution for the mining and minerals processing industries. The TIMA’s basis is a scanning electron microscope TESCAN. Modal analysis, liberation analysis and search for precious metals are fully automated by the TIMA. This presentation illustrates the great performance of the TIMA for tasks of automated liberation analysis and association analysis at a pyrite concentrate sample.
