In 1980 Pavel Babayants graduated with Distinction from Geophysics department of the Moscow Geological Prospecting Institute. After graduation he worked in the EGM department first as junior, then senior researcher, senior lecturer, assistant professor. In 1995 left his post of deputy Dean of the Geophysics Department of MGRI and became lead geophysist of GNPP “Aerogeophysica”, in 2004 was appointed chief geophysist. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers, his main area of interest - processing and interpretation of potential fields, complex interpretation of geological-geophysical data.
