Sergei Chinkis joined Sberbank CIB (known as Troika Dialog since October 2012) in September 2012 from HSBC Bank, where he was a Managing Director and Global Head of the Metals and Mining Group. Mr Chinkis has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and has been involved in a number of high profile corporate finance transactions in the metals and mining industry, both in Russia and globally. This includes landmark transactions such as Polyus Gold’s reverse takeover of KazakhGold Group and Polymetal’s redomiciliation to the premium segment of the London Stock Exchange and its public offering, the first ever premium listing of a Russian company on the LSE.
