After graduation from the Leningrad Mining Institute in 1971, Valeriy Priputnevich started his career as a mining engineer at Solnetchny Mine Construction Department of Far East mine construction trust. For 16 years he was promoted from mine manager to the managing director of "Dalshakhtostroy." From 1994 Mr Priputnevich held management positions in various mining companies. For his achievements in 1991 he was awarded the title "Honoured Miner of the Russian Federation."

In 2003, the Mr Priputnevich headed "Nizhneamurskuyu mining company." During 10 years of active work at NGK he transformed the company into a modern enterprise equipped with the cutting edge geophysical, drilling and other equipment. He also assembled and experienced team of geologists, geophysicists, surveyors, topographers, geodesist who use leading information technology in their work.

NGK Group today is a dynamic independent holding company which carries out 36 complex mineral exploration projects, including design, geological and geophysical survey. The result: the company discovered 3 new mines, and added mineral reserves at 17 mines.

He is married and has four children, two of whom work in the Exploration field.
